The Hall and its grounds are stunning, the breakfasts and food are heaven, the owners and staff are welcoming and gracious hosts.

"I have had the pleasure of staying at Warwick Hall on many occasions in family groups, as a couple and for private hire purposes and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit."

What an extra special family celebration we had at Warwick Hall. Nothing was too much trouble for Val and her staff. The food, rooms and surroundings were wonderful - in particular the cosy lounge which we made good use of.

"I cannot praise the place highly enough. The Hall is in a beautiful setting and I received an extremely warm welcome. My room was fantastically comfortable, spotless and spacious and the public areas are perhaps even more impressive."

"Every single thing about our trip to Warwick Hall was perfect: the beautiful setting is so tranquil that it makes you take that step back and relax, immediately. Whilst the Hall itself is impressive, it is in no way intimidating; we instantly felt completely at home."

Yoga and Meditation

We are more than a little proud of our pretty, warm, newly created yoga studio in a beautiful 18th century stable block. You'll find a few regular classes of Hatha yoga and a long list of advanced classes in our teacher's studio fifteen minutes away in Carlisle. The rest of the time, the studio is available for self practice, private lessons or Thai massage.

We don't organise yoga breaks ourselves , but we do cater for them, both in terms of accommodation, appropriate and delicious food, and most importantly, expert teaching from our own Debz Sladen. If your group would like to come here for a short break or a full week of serious yoga, meditation and fun, we know you'll be delighted with our facilities and with Debz' teaching. Alternatively, we're happy for your own teacher to come to instruct your group.

Yoga here at Warwick Hall  is a pleasure that is actually good for you.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is gentle yoga. Slow yoga. It's a good introduction for beginners and amazingly effective for advanced students who want to refine their practice. It's the best choice for anyone recovering from an injury and for anyone who wants to be careful about their exercise.

Astanga is a challenging, aerobic yoga workout. It's an hour and a half of strong and fluid movement which leaves you feeling every muscle has been woken up, refreshed, stretched and finally relaxed. What a feeling!

Meditation is an ancient technique of refreshing your mind and spirit. Hard to explain – not so hard to learn with a good teacher. If you feel you need to get away, try exploring this historic discipline to find new strength and inner peace.
